College has been making me it's fucking bitch. It's been tough for me to get used to the routine. I feel like I'm always busy with, but I'm not accomplishing enough. It could just be me, stressing when there's no need. I have trouble with that some times. It feels like it's just never enough sometimes. My effort I mean.

Anyway, enough of that emotional bullshit.

I still need more face scans for "The Faces of Newgrounds" collab. I think I'm giving it one or two more weeks of face scans sent to me. If I don't have enough, I'll just fade out the music.

I want to get that collaboration done, cause I've got a little something up my sleeve I've been working on for a while. Actually it's pretty big. It might happen it might not, depends on how I lay out my work load. With college getting in the way of so much and all. It's always nice to dream, though (insert cheesy, poetic tone). But I think I've finally come up with an idea for a series...

I've had this idea for a series for a while. and on friday i decided to make an intro for fun. So, just in case this project never becomes a reality. i'll post this intro here cause it wouldn't hold up as a submission on its own anyway.

they all agreed to do the voices. I am still working on the script for the first episode. i want to make sure the first one is especially good. explains the story, presents characters and full of good moments. but i wanted to make sure the voice actors i had in mind were up for it first.

the collab intro page makes me think of primetime cafe in disneyworld. which makes me think of a shrieking harpy from the mid-fifties telling my mother to finish the cucumber slices she left on her salad.

yeah, for some reason i wanted the Faces of NG to have a late 80's early 90's feel. I think it's because that style always reminds me of those photo booths at the malls. it seems like those things were a very popular attraction in those days. i dunno. it felt right. wait til you all hear what song i chose. that also fits that era.

the whole intro thing kinda reminds me of some movie intro/credit sequences because of how all the names and stuff are displayed

I agree with scriblam. I really hate how all the good artists just use the same voice actors over and over again. It completely kills the chance of anybofy else becoming a voice actor on here because everyone wants to use the people that everyone uses.

i haven't been approached. and castings take way too long. plus i know these guys and i know they are reliable. these guys arent the only characters. they're just the main ones. and for main characters i need reliable voice actors. that's a big part of the casting. second. i actually developed the three main characters after their voices (to a degree). that should shut any people complaining about the frequent reoccurrence of very talented voice actors like Arin and Josh. Because these guys are very much like them. Anyways it's a stupid argument, arin and josh do a lot of voice acting cause they are hard workers and good at it. enough said.

I'm digging the intro man. It's very "Saul Bass", but still yours. My scanner was just fixed so I might send my face in soon. As for college, trust me when I say you can never do enough to be satisfied. It's all a matter of accepting the fact that you can only do so much. Keep on keepin' on.

thanks dude. that's honestly helpful advice. i literally JUST came back from like 5 hours straight of editing in the lab, and feeling pretty down. I'll keep that in mind.

as for Saul Bass. I remember still very young animating with my video camera and cut outs of paper always putting lots of effort in the title sequences of my little animated home video scenes. I remember some friend of my parent's came over one day and saw one of my movies and mentioned how my credits are a lot like Saul Bass. I ended up eventually researching the guy and yeah. that's the story of how I was introduced to one of my creative idols. In short, I love that dude's work.
