It's really cool to see all these different influences on your work, considering you're one of my top 3 favorite creators here on Newgrounds, or creator of Flash movies in general.
When I get more time, probably this weekend, I'll be sure to actually watch all these videos!
I actually drew a neat picture today, and I drew a fedora on my character guy the way you do cause I saw that demo of yours that you posted in the last post, and everyone was complimenting the style of the hat.
It was kind of funny, hehe, but I thought I'd share that with you, and let you know that your work is very well done and good.
Wow, this entry was an education. I can completely see where you came from now (in terms of your slick cut-out contrast style), and I fully understand why you chose the "Gringo Like Me" song.
I stumbled across a western song from the videogame "The Movies" and I thought of CrippleKane. Here it is:

I'm not sure if it would have gone with the bold and explosive style you pull off so well, but the song just seemed apt.
Maybe for another animation?
The Movies was a great videogame that tried to capture the different era's of cinema, and it did - well. It also had a great soundtrack that I can imagine you using in any one of your animations:
Secret Agent theme: <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kwhSOoqI4XE">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kwhSOo qI4XE</a>
Scifi Experiment: <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ApVp18qF0Q">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ApVp1 8qF0Q</a>
Frisky Flute: <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=olOnuL1qHnY">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=olOnuL 1qHnY</a>
If you want the higher quality .ogg files, just leave a comment on any of the videos given.
Thanks man, your animations really pay tribute to the masters of cinema. Keep it up!
