What worries me is the possible similarity of Ace Pilot's humor and style to the short lived "Duck Dodgers" series on Tv.

Course Duck Dodgers was basically a parody of those old intrepid space series back in the day.

But judging what you preview, there'll be quite a bit of action and sex! Which means this is not going to be a kids show.

Meh, I take it back that speculation. Cause i haven't seen enough yet.

Duck Dodgers is strictly Looney Tunes with a twist of Star Trek.
And Futurama is basically Simpsons with a cyclops and a robot.
Trippin' the Rift was just an excuse to watch partial 3D animated nudity.

There aren't enough Sci-Fi action+comedies out there. And so far any parody of those old Sci-Fi shows is essentially just the same show from the original creator with galactic garnishing. Not that it's a bad thing...but the 'main dish' is all dependent on the artist's personal style.
