I talk about how an increase in escapism is changing the standard for the way entertainment is being presented. I also talk about how different run times in visual mediums effect how powerful your story can be.

SOMETHING THAT SHOULD BE MENTIONED:

I added all the Ace Pilot cutscenes to my youtube channel. You should subscribe cause I'll be releasing stuff on there in the future. Some of my old stuff, some new stuff. I'm really thinking of starting to take my youtube account more seriously. I'll be making loads of these types of updates on my twitter "HaVaHa". so follow me there if you're interested in keeping up with this stuff.

I'm even thinking of doing some live video sessions on Live Stream and we can all hang out and talk together about movies. Much like how I talk on my blogposts. But involving you dudes. There's nothing on my account there now. But I'm only going to start it once I get a handful of people interested in hoping in. Check it out here.

Reading you article, I think that Matrix 1 had a perfect ending, but Matrix 2 and 3 was really unnesesary. Watching the movies the other day with my brother he told me that in the first Matrix the agents are scary because the are inmortal and overpowered. But in the 2nd and 3rd movie they are only like a video game boss, beat him and go to next level.

Anyway, i love this part of your article: "Trying to tell too much is bad and telling too little is bad. Some TV shows should have been movies and some movies should have been TV shows"

This is what literally killed the last 2 movies of pirates of the caribean, the story was really to complex and you give a shit. The first was really simple

yeah. Pirates of the caribbean 2 and 3. it was just a cluster fuck. The first one is awesome.

As for the matrix, I wouldn't even mind that version of smith, I could see a very good possible story playing out with him and neo in their new forms. One of the problems though is. It focused so much on other characters for no reason. Just mindless expansion of the universe they created in the story of the first one. If they kept the story more simple they could have explored just Neo Morpheus and Smith a lot better.

Instead, it almost felt like Neo was just like a action treat to give a break from all the taking by all the other characters. As if Neo was secondary almost. I definitely would have preferred a Matrix TV show if they went with that approach of exploring the universe.
